A unit that pays for itself through the gas it sells
This is the public summary. Every figure states its nature: measurement, calculation, estimate, target or assumption. The full financial file is sent on request.
01
The economic problem we solve
- A processing site pays to get rid of its organic waste.
- It also pays for the wood, charcoal or gas it burns to cook.
- The unit turns the first cost into the answer to the second: the waste becomes its cooking gas.
02
Revenue model, phase by phase
Each phase adds a revenue stream without removing the previous one.
- 1
Sale of purified biogas to the host site, by metered volume used. The equipment stays with us.
- 2
Sale of biogas to gas-using small businesses, including restaurants and hotels.
- 3
Sale of biogas from units installed in rural communities.
- 4
Sale of bottled biogas to small businesses and households, once the bioenergy framework allows it.
- 5
Neighbourhood connections: billing by flow or by use, as on a gas network.
03
Evidence of viability
- A pilot has run; it is complete and its results are established.
- Its results were audited by a specialist firm in the sector.
- Laboratory tests analysed the gas and the digestate.

Identified risks and responses
- Risk : Digester acidification: cassava residues drive the pH down and stop production.
- Response Buffering with local potash, a remotely monitored pH probe, an alert before shutdown.
- Risk : Irregular waste supply depending on the site's activity.
- Response Phase 1 sites chosen for continuous production; biogas buffer storage.
- Risk : The site is reluctant to invest in new equipment.
- Response It does not buy the unit: it only pays for the gas it uses.
- Risk : Regulations that do not yet allow bottling.
- Response Gas used on site until phase 4, which is devoted to changing that framework.
- Risk : Heat, humidity and rain.
- Response UV-resistant banded tank; electronics and solar panel under a canopy.
- Risk : Digestate spread without control.
- Response Digestate checked before any return to the land; without that check, it is not spread.
